COVID-19 SAFETY PLAN

Hello CenterPointe Family!

We have been making preparations, and will begin to have in-person services starting June 28, 2020! We are excited to see all of you, however, we understand that many of you will not feel comfortable returning to in-person services.

We also encourage anyone who is at risk, who may have been exposed or has traveled to states experiencing a resurgence, or who is currently experiencing symptoms of COVID, to please stay home. We will continue to make recordings available on the CenterPointe Church website.

For those who plan to attend, the following precautions and procedures will be in place for the time being:

  • Our greeters will be taking everyone’s temperature using a touchless infrared thermometer upon arriving. We are requiring that everyone over the age of two wear a mask. And, hand sanitizer will be applied as you enter.

  • We will not be serving food or beverages and ask that you not bring your own into church.

  • The sanctuary seating will be arranged with social distancing in mind. Families who live together should sit together. Please keep in mind that as you fellowship before and after services, you should keep a safe distance and refrain from shaking hands, hugging, etc. We know this will be difficult because we have all missed one another, but we do this to protect one another out of our love for each other.

  • Ushers will be available to write out any intercessory prayer requests or praise reports.

  • The offering basket will not be passed. The basket will be made available for you to drop off your offering. We encourage those who are able to give online.

  • We will be playing recorded songs from CenterPointe’s Praise Band.

  • Pastors and anyone else speaking from the stage will not be wearing a mask while speaking. There will be more space than usual between the speaker and the first group of seats.

  • The nursery will be closed until a time when we feel it is safe to reopen it.

  • Youth Church will be held outdoors (weather permitting) on each Sunday except the second Sunday so that the youth can participate in Communion.
